Although there were a few arrests this year, Notting Hill Carnival still remains the biggest and most famous in England. This Caribbean culture inspired carnival is the largest in Europe that takes place every August bank holiday in London since 1966 and takes its route from the Ladbroke Grove to Westbourne Grove.

The visitors and participants were protected and looked after by 7,000 police officers, the sunny weather also allowed to fully admire lively party atmosphere. The celebration gathered around 1 million spectators, including young people and families with children, who could not only observe but be involved in the street dancing.
